How does indemnification = intimidation? |

>Neustar offered to indemnify ICANN, prior to ICANN asking for idemnification
from any applicant. As a matter of fact, I believe it may have been part of
Neustar's application!<Yes, it was. What significance does it have? There's nothing
illegal or wrong about it. It makes good sense considering the fact that Neustar
was surely aware of the highly questionable claims other companies are making regarding
new TLDs. You've still failed to explain how this equates to intimidation. >And
Mike Roberts, (ICANN CEO) has stated that he and ICANN are not intimidated by
threats of lawsuits, due to the regularity of such threats. Would you like
to see his quote? I can pull it out my email files if you are further interested.< Thanks
for the information. Since this is the case, it makes me wonder why IOD supporters
continue to make baseless threats in these forums in light of the fact that it will
have no effect on ICANN's decisions.
