There is a clear need for ICANN and advisory bodies to make public statements on
this issue. Only one member of ICANN recused himself publicly BEFORE the applications
were submitted. I believe several have done so since and from the information on
these forums, several more should do so. This is normal practise. Not doing so
greatly diminishes the credibility of the whole TLD process. It is astounding that
