Working Group
B Report on Famous Names

On 21 March 2000, Working Group B presented
a status report to the DNSO Names Council concerning its study
of methods for protection of globally famous trademarks in gTLDs.
This Public Comment Forum is dedicated to the discussion of that
report and the issues Working Group B has been studying. The Names
Council will discuss the report and public comments on it at an
18 April 2000 telephone meeting and intends to provide a report
to the ICANN Board by 20 April 2000.
