Subject: IOD's huge merits, that Afilias can only dream of

IOD has focused on one TLD only (.web) and has huge merits,
that Afilias can only dream of:

- IOD has a functioning .web registry, READY to go into the A-root server;
- IOD has been in new TLD creation process since the beginning:
  in 1996 IANA even authorized IOD to start their .web registry
  and to accept real registrations!

On the contrary, Afilias filed a last-minute application that
seems very strong but is and remains a simple PROJECT on paper.

Instead of considering these important matters,
the evaluation team preferred to IMAGINE that IOD's registry
(that is REAL and FUNCTIONING) is not technically valid,
while Afilias' registry (that does NOT even exist yet)
is

I think that the following comment is a GROUNDLESS INSULT to IOD:

"the technical evaluation team concluded that there is a very
significant risk that Image Online Design will not be able
to react quickly to unpredictable surges in demand, especially
during the critical startup period. A failure to service a
global customer base on a 24x7 basis, particularly during the
initial startup period, could fatally damage the reputation of
the new TLD" .

I can't figure out why this should happen.
The truth is that IOD's .web registry will work and there
will not be problems.
