Your desperation is really showing. Not only is the tone of your writing revealing,
now you're coming up with different scenarios to support your position. We can come
up with all sorts of timelines that would work, and timelines that won't. The bottom
line is that with Afilias, we know there will be competition from Day 1 - regardless
of the date the registry goes live. We're not guaranteed any such thing with your
firm. It's a guessing game. Furthermore, let's say that your Feb. 1 scenario happens
and there is competition from Day 1. Wouldn't this have a major effect on your financials,
which (to my understanding) assume that your firm is the sole registrar for the first
year? Which reminds me of the (ridiculous) $15 registry fee you'll be charging. Since
ICANN (properly) noted that this fee is excessive, you've stated that you're willing
to lower it. Wouldn't lowering it also have a major effect on your financials, which
are based on the $15 fee?
