As a Director of Australia's largest prepaid legal service, I support a system of verification, such as in DotLaw Inc's proposal.

Should new information "seekers" or "providers" not want verification they will not use the proposed dotlaw TLD and are free to maintain the status quo (e.g. dotcom TLD). There will still be a choice.

DotLaw's proposal to have a Domain Advisory Board includes the need for accreditation for the international community and I am please to see this addressed in a proposal.

In Australia, a verification process has value as it rewards lawyers that have gone through the difficult Australian accreditation requirements. I would use the TDL.
