Love your logic, however your logic is not the way the law works. I urge you to speak to a lawyer specializing in contract law about this one. He'll tell you the same thing I'm telling you (which I got from a corporate lawyer specializing in contract law). I doubt that the corporation he works for is paying him $250/hour for the wrong information.
