Subject: .union for unions

Unions don't have an apparent place in the existing tld structure. Are they commercial bodies? Associations? Education bodies? They fulfil a cross section of many of these, but importantly they are a major part of civil society that stand separate to all these other bodies.

Unions are international, share a common structure and format, are internationally organised to the extent that would make sense for the management of a top level domain and represent enough people worldwide to be a significant movement for consideration for a tld.

For that reason, a .union top level domain is sensible and appropriate.
