In addition to providing tools for a safer web environment for kids and teens, DotKids, Inc. does this by operating as the back-end registry.  Our thick registry system promotes increased Registrar competition, as the registry holds the responsibility to securely store data which reduces the criteria for Registrar accreditation. Existing Kid Friendly portals and sites can remain as a .com and/or establish a presence in .kids.  The branding and rating provides the portal or site a quality environment and the audience to enhance their identity.  This also allow filtering companies the option to expand their product and services to the .kids environment.  Rating organizations also have the opportunity to increase their visibility and offer their quality services and ratings to the global internet. ISP services will be enhanced to provide this service to their customers. Products, browsers, technology can all exist in the .kids TLD bringing valued services to the users.

DotKids, Inc. will be establishing the DotKids Foundation to support existing organizations (community, national and global) in their efforts to promote awareness and education regarding online safety.   In addition to supporting others, the DotKids Foundation will also implement it’s own awareness and educational programs on a global scale.
