The objective of the TLD proposal that we have put forward is to reduce the problems
of cybersquatting and domain name speculation both in our TLD and in other TLDs.
The polices therefore contain provisions which we believe will discourage or directly
prevent this behaviour. The task is complex - and made even more so by the fact that
we are aiming for a simple implementation. For this reason we welcome contructive
criticism, will respond to it, and expect to ultimatly modify our policies as a result
of this input. Thanks in advance. Phil Berent Chairman bizTRAC Head of TLD
Management Group, Affinity Internet, Inc.
