Subject: Support for the .NOM proposal from CORE

This proposal from a pionneer in the extension of the Domain Name System should be taken into account.
First of all CORE is an European association, after all these years under the natural monopoly of the US, I could find legitimate to see an European non for profit association to run a registry.
The .nom proposal will offer to the individuals a name space and thus encourage people to use Internet and allow them to be present on the net.
CORE has the experience of running a SRS, has experience to deal with registrars, CORE's prices have been the first one to be so low and CORE has experience in dealing with problems that can occur in the domain name registration process. It's an open group and all those points make CORE's proposal a serious one.

Hope to see the .nom managed by CORE soon.
