      I completely agree with dconder, and would like to stress the
my opinion, that Abacus is not the best choice for this TLD. The concept of FAMILY is truly global and needs a bit more thinking than the simple "first-come-first-served" policy which is currently used by the applicants (every family should have the possibility to subscribe under this TLD, not only the first of any name).

We, the "FAM Top Level Domain" tried to formulate our own application (see our Expression of Interest #19), but the application period of only six weeks was to short for us to formulate all of the requested material. So we hope, that ICANN does not approve FAM to Abacus now, and we get a second chance to deliver our (probably better fitting) application to ICANN sometime in the near future.
