Subject: Comments about ICANN New TLD process - Is anything being done about it?

In this Forum I have reviewed many comments and complaints regarding ICANN process and questions proposed regarding what ICANN may do with the New TLD Applications and the Name.Space Application, etc.

The fact of the matter here is that apparently we are at the mercy of ICANN, with no due process, no real rules, no real guidelines or real standards that define the ICANN New TLD licensing decision making process.

No matter how you look at it, without due process, real rules, real guidelines and real standards that define the ICANN New TLD licensing decision making process, any ICANN decision concerning the New TLD Applications will appear arbitrary and self-serving.

Does ICANN really have the legal authority to say that Name.Space cannot be awarded .Shop and the other New TLDs it has applied for?
