Subject: Kids Domain Needs to Happen

                I have participated on the technology side of the Internet’s development for almost 10 years.  No one ever completely understood all the many ways the Internet would be used, but we knew of the tremendous power of this technology.   The foundation of the Internet was for sharing information efficiently and responsibly.   From it’s inception the responsibility was placed on the military, government and commercial users that it interconnected. 
Today, with the exposition of commercial uses of the Internet, we have lost the ability to self-governed the Internet.

Currently the Internet does not have a method to safely partition areas of the web with its vast namespace.  Kids Domains proposal for creating a logical “green space” within the Internet for children is a real solution to real problem.

I have read the proposals for the “.kids” domains, and support the Kids Domain’s business model for achieving this worthy cause.
