        On behalf of the National Association of Housing Cooperatives,
I think
having a .co-op would be a wonderful way for cooperatives to identify
themselves to internet users.   With so much concern over e-business,
it is very important for consumers to be able to distinguish
cooperatives from other businesses and organizations.   In addition,
co-ops serve people around the world and in a variety of diverse
fields, so a .co-op would be a wide-ranging, broad-based TLD as
opposed to a TLD that is only useful to people in one country or
organizations that are only active in one field.
