Your right on about conflict of interest. Ken Stubbs is chairman of ICANN's DNSO
Names Council AND board member of Afilias. No wonder the DNSO recently came out with
their press release against pre-registrations (though I know you agree that IO Design
has taken actual registrations). If that isn't conflict of interest, I don't know
what is. If .web is given to this consortiom and not IO Design, the internet world
will know the sham that has taken place and I predict that this would lead to ICANN's
disbandment. Not to mention lawsuits from the rightful operators of the .web registry,
IO Design, and its registrants. Maybe we should be issuing our own press release
regarding this conflict of interest.
