I seriously doubt it. His arguments lack the appearance of substance, his reasoning lacks the appearance of logic.

I don't say this merely because he represents a view that opposes mine. I say it because he is not trained in the art of dialectic or in rhetoric.

He types. That's about it.

Afilias would be better armed.

And WILL be, folks. Expect them to come in blazing in the last 48 hours of this board. Perhaps in the last 6-12 hours. They are trained in the ways of argumentation; however, none of this negates any of the issues discussed here:

* Monopolization and lack of diversity at both the registry and registrar level.

* Impropriety

* Conflict of interest

* Lack of inherent claim on .web

* Dubious business practice of member entities.
