this issue being brought forward as part of this public forum seems very alarming to me for which ICANN, up to now, has been very silent.
I plan to question directly the Department of Commerce for clarification. Everyone has a boss, including ICANN. You may wish to do the same. The link below provides the e-mail, postal, and fax address to the Secretary of Commerce, the Honorable Norman Y. Mineta (sworn in July 21, 2000).
