        but in reference to your points regardingin IOD:

1) Say during the review process, the ICANN requests IOD to accomodate their technology to allow outside registrars from the start.  My opinion is that this would not be a deal killer and IOD would accommodate.

2) At $5.75 per registration, Afilias is forecasting an earnings loss (in the 90% to 50% confidence level).  Is it not a more sound business practice, and more stable, to submit a proposal where profitability stands a greater chance once in operation than otherwise?  Future risk, either technologically, financially, or otherwise is not what this process needs.  I would rather see $15 applied for - with the option to decrease it later - than some forecasting model that produces a negative bottom line number.
