Subject: Afilias limits regestration to 10 years max!!

Section E10 (other policies) of the Afilias TLD policies documents says that that gTLD registrations will extend for a minumum of 2 years and for a maximum of 10 years.

This worries me.

If Afilias get any of the new gTLDs then they will limit the maximum regestration period to 10 years.

After that, presumably if you want to keep your successful 10 year old web site then you must enter into negotiations??

Pah!

I'm sure the likes of Yahoo would be thrilled if this applied to the .com addresses now.

Any comments?
