Dear Sir, you mentioned...

Actually, the underlying database system does store its data in an XML-ready format, and the on-the-wire protocol can be XML without any changes to the system. We did not feel that it was necessary to point out the obvious in our application. XML is not a silver bullet. But, as you point out, it is helpful. I'm glad I could clear this point up.

You're correct, we don't. What we say is that we'll open up to ALL ICANN registrars as soon as possible, with no requirement to purchase equity in our company (as opposed to the Afilias proposal, which seems to indicate such a purchase is required. Interesting, in that this seems to me to have been the CORE model as well).

The only delay is in testing and gaining approval of our RRP implementation. As I said elsewhere, we are more than willing to work with any registrars, even right now, to speed-up this process.

I'm glad I was able to answer your concerns.
