        On behalf of the over 8,500 members of Wedge Community Co-op, I urge the internet Corporation for assigned names and numbers(ICANN) to
approve the proposal for a .coop top level domain name.

The national cooperative business association(NCBA) and poptel are proposing a .coop with the full endorsement of the international cooperative business alliance.

We are a retail natural foods consumer cooperative located near downtown Minneapolis. As the Member Services Director, I work for the board of directors (7 co-op members) and respond to the needs of the membership and potential members.

We provide our members with the best products and services that we can, but find that our business is sometimes hampered by the difficulty the public has understanding the difference between cooperatives and profit-driven businesses. There is much public confusion about what it means to be a cooperative. The .coop TLD will help us educate the public about the critical cooperative difference.

Please add our 8,500 voices to the chorus of support for a quick approval of the .coop tld.
