Subject: IATAN should not be allowed to control .travel

After reviewing several applications for new TLD's and the comments that have been posted, I would agree with Dr. Lewis Eigen on his comments for the proposal of WHO to control .health. This also applies to IATAN controlling who and who cannot have .travel.

No one entity should control any dot name. IATAN can do as Dr. Eigen proposed for WHO: IATAN's web site can have a list of endorsed or approved sites with links. The public will have the opportunity to use IATAN or not.

If you allow ANY one entity to control who can and cannot have a dot name, everyone loses. Where does it end??? Auto controlled by General Motors, Insurance controlled by Nationwide, Bank controlled by Bank One, and will it filter down to Dog being controlled by a certain type of breeder?

Once it starts, it will be hard to stop.
