To avoid significant upheaval in the general business foundations inherent in the .com marketplace, the new domain names should open to interpretation and not attempt to classify web content. We have seen how attepts to classify content have failed: .com .org or .net could be anything and contain any degree of content. Why? because the decision is and always will be up to the webmaster what content is included on the website; not the domain name.

I believe the foundation set by Online Designs .web registry in their operations over the last 4 years is an obvious chioce for inclusion in the first new domain names. .web will maintain the same type of vale as .com, without necessarily disrupting the current internet system as we know it.

I dont need to remind everyone of the billions of dollars spent on marketing for dot com etc. domain names and the businesses behind them...

You, as the decision makers, hold a public trust that the new domain names will not adversely affect the already struggling e-business landscape, and choose Online Design
