I think that any new TLD's should mainly add meaning to the category of sites they
are used for.
A general term like '.web' is not likely to do this. On the other
hand, some proposed TLD's have too narrow a focus (specific professions or trades)
to be chosen if only an extremely limited number of TLD's are to be implemented at
this time.I hope a compromise can be found that allows for a distinction to be
made between categories of domains and at the same time allows for a certain degree
of generality within a broad category. sincerely,
