I agree that you can never guess that number before they are actually taking place. However there will be "a tremendous number" of challenged domain names from the current database. There's no doubt about that.

I also agree that their procedure will "substantially reduce trademark violations" but there will still be a MAJOR problem compared to starting with an empty database. Also, I feel that somebody who has ignored trademark rights for four years doesn't appear to be trustworthy to me.

Furthermore their application says "Image Online Design is in full compliance with all United States law pertinent to trademark and anti-cybersquatting issues.". I suppose they didn't know that 43% of all domain registrations are made outside US. There are hundreds of jurisdictions to deal with.
