FROM AN EMAIL:

"This past July, during the ICANN conference
in Japan, ICANN opened up the floor for public
commentary and Q & A  regarding the inclusion
of new domain extensions into the Internet root.
Ken was the councilman leading the session.
During this session, Christopher Ambler,
founder of Image Online Design, stepped up
to the microphone, and asked a question
regarding certain decisions ICANN was making
that were contrary to the decisions and
recommendations established over the course
of the previous year, with regard to new
Internet extensions. Ken Stubbs, in an
unprecedented manner, refused to answer
Ambler's very simple, very fundamental
question, without explaining why he wouldn't
reply. It needs to be furthermore noted that it
was Stubbs' Names Council that thwarted the
process in favor of a model that better
represented (and represents) the interests
of Ken Stubbs and Afilias.

parts, with another commenter speaking
in-between the parts."
