      Although some of the comments are off-topic, they do relate back to the issue of TLD's.  If IOD has supporters, they should be able to make their support known.  They do have a vested interest, and a valid one.  If you will notice, though, there are very few people in favor of the lopsided processes ICANN is using.

This IS an emotional situation for many people.  They are looking at broken promises and the future policy of ignoring prior use or the fact that the internet is not owned by one entity.  ICANN spouts off about the stability of the internet, yet is placing it in danger by its own secret processes and one sided board.

This situation with the new TLD's is a very important issue.  I say let people say what they wish, support whomever they wish and comment openly.  That's the whole purpose of the message board.
