I wholeheartedly support .xxx as a voluntary TLD. Porno site operators know exactly what their material is and should have no difficulty in classifying it under this TLD. Keeping their content out of the eyes of kids is to their advantage. If this usage becomes next to universal, filtering software (now mandated for public libraries in the US over the objections of the librarians) can stop filtering material that simply contains certain words. It can instead filter web sites that want to be filtered.

.sex is English-centric and I therefore prefer .xxx as a TLD.

.kids raises issues as to how it might be misused. To work for filtering it would need lots of rules. Without them, it couldn't be considered a "safe" TLD, but would simply indicate that the web site has been developed for children.
