The issue here is
whether Image Online Design (IOD) deserve to be considered in the greater scheme
of things. The reality is that IOD have placed a great deal of time and effort into
this for many years. This is significant as many people are very apt at having views
on topics.... how many of us actually take our opinion forward to actions? The
.web Tld is significant as it allows a new area for developing names that have relevance
to online business/activities. The concept is sound and there is no doubt that it
will work. We should try as an online community to avoid the current situation
that the current crop of Tld's have - namely the monopoly that really is anything
but healthy - especially as the last 2 years have seen a significant shift to a direct
marketing model that has alienated the internet community professionals. Domain supply
and resale has turned into a very crewd industry that begs some clear cut alternative. In
my opinion IOD can be the catalyst for such a change.
