Subject: Big boys cry hardest

Afilias is less than three months old, it's definetely a move to strengthen a monopoly they already share.  If they were ever serious about it, then they would have formed this alliance long ago.

They say that between them they have registered more than 10,000,000 domains in the last fiscal year.  Wonderful, isn't that enough?  Are they making enough money already?

I'm sure if they don't get the domain they seek that they will have a big dummy spit over it and cry the hardest.

C'mon ICANN, show the world how fair and mature you all are.  Better still, approve their application under the provisor that they make moves to take on board the registrars that are competing.  After all, they are all for promoting growth and competition.  It's David and Goliath all over again.  Let's not see an MS style monopoly evolve please.
