>Whoever states that IOD can technically support
>real TLD Registry operations does not know anything
>about Registry and registrations.

Response: IOD has run a reliable and stable registry for over 4 years. Compare this to Afilias (zero employees) what is their experience? Network Solutions/Afilias does not have a monopoly on the world's technical expertise in this area.

>They need to have RRP server, RRP client, BackOffice
>support targeted at Registrars (billing, reporting,
>customer care), specialized WhoIs server. None of
>those is available on the market to be purchased.

Response" Again! IOD has run a reliable and stable registry for over 4 years.

>IOD does not have by far the resources
>of NSI. NSI is NOT selling their RRP solution.

Response: Please give sound reasons why they are not qualified? IOD has qualified sub-contractors operating their back end. This is how the high tech industry works ... sub-contractors. Afilias has zero employees. Even though Afilias is a conglomeration of other companies they still, in essence, have to "hire away" their entire staff ... build an entire company from what they have right now ... nothing. Even though NSI an operating registry (which IOD does as well) it is not like you have an installation disk, allowing you to just install and voila .... there's your registry. IOD's registries is operational right now and ready to be live tomorrow.

>Say No To IOD !!!

Response: If you are so adamantly against IOD then you must be for Afilias. Given that Afilias was created last month, has zero employees, zero equipment (infrastructure), zero customer support, zero customers,  and you are posting anonymously, your affiliation and motivation comes into question.
