It occurs to me that if a pioneer such as IOD can be pushed out
even though they have illustrated proficiency and competence, then
what small company will EVER have a chance to challenge the big
boys who already inhabit the registry and registrar levels? I mean,
if IOD has not proven itself as a viable option, no one "new" EVER
will. Having said that, IOD is not so squeaky new. They are 4-5 years
proven.

ICANN: if your talk of offering competition and diversity is even
remotely tethered to the truth, then you need to indicate that in
this next roll-out.

Offer IOD .web, offer Name.Space .shop and offer at least another TLD
to one of the other new (yet capable) applicants.

Then, ICANN, you will have competition. The very thing you claim you
want.

But kill IOD at this stage, not only will it be clear bias,
considering their history. . . it will indicate that you will
come up to bat for NOBODY but those who have you in their back
pocket.
