Subject: Is ICANN pulling a fast one?

                            Reading this:

It would seem that four ICANN board members extending their time on the board. This was decided by them and the five members that are leaving.

Whats more, it says that only after the Nov 16 meeting will the leaving members be replaced by the newly elected members.

Does this mean that the newly elected people cannot vote on the TLD thing?

I think it might be in the public interest to know where the four that are leaving are going. For example are any of them taking up jobs with
any of the applicants? Indeed do any of the members have any association with any applicants?

Is there something going on or have I spent too long reading the postings here?!!
