The
Afilias application exposes a facade for an organization. This facade was formed
one month ago ... hardly a track record. The seperate entities which now form
Afilias, have never worked in concert previously. That is, they have less experience
at this new dimension than IOD has at operating .WEB. You think just because
NSI and Register.com, et al, are functioning separately, they automatically can function
united? Some of the Afilias separate entities function poorly on their own,
including NSI. What makes you think they are up to the task of operating, and
controlling a real, border-line monopolistic conglomerate? They can barely
get my DNS server changes executed properly.
